We encourage you to read our terms and conditions in their entirety. These terms and conditions are a legal agreement between you, the Licensee, (herein referred to as "the Licensee ") and Petimage.org, which owns and operates this web site. Your use of this web site means you accept these terms and conditions. Please do not use this web site if you do not accept these terms and conditions.

1) Licensing: Any Content downloaded from this Site by the Licensee, including, without limitation, any images, ads or information (collectively, the "Content") is licensed to you by Petimage.org. Downloading the Content does not transfer title of the Content, or any intellectual property rights therein, to you. You may not redistribute or sell the content.

2) Photo Credits: If the Content is used for editorial purposes (such as in articles), Licensee must include the following credit adjacent to the Content: Photographer's name/Petimage.org; or as otherwise notified by Petimage.org. Photo credit is not required where photos are used in web banners, advertisements, or other publication in which a photo credit would typically not be included.

3) Ad Credits: Ad Content from the Site must include the following credit adjacent to the Content: “Petimage.org” or as otherwise notified by Petimage.org.

4) Copyrights: In using this web site, the Licensee understands that the web site itself and all images herein are protected by all applicable United States and international copyright laws and the user agrees to strictly adhere to the copyrights of Petimage.org. The Licensee understands that any failure to obey copyright laws may lead to legal action and the user thereby agrees to pay additional charges levied for copyright infringements, court settlements and court judgments. In the event of an infringement, the Licensee further agrees to pay attorney's fees incurred by Petimage.org.

5) Comp Usage: The Licensee may copy and paste to their computer our thumbnail or watermarked gallery images only for the purpose of "Comp Usage", which is defined as the creation of a temporary test use for a rough layout or for internal company review or testing. The images may not be used in any materials distributed or accessible to the public or in any final product or use, including, without limitation, any online or other electronic distribution system, and may not be sold or sublicensed alone or as part of any product. Exception: you may transmit comps digitally or electronically for internal company review purposes.

6) Non-Profit Pricing: The Non-Profit discount is available onlyto 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations and municipal animal care and control programs (unless an explicit exception is made by an authorized representative of Petimage.org). Any attempt to use the non-profit discount fraudulently is grounds for legal action and permanent prohibition from use of the Site.

7) Grant of Rights: Petimage.org grants the Licensee a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to reproduce the Licensed Material identified in the Invoice an unlimited number of times in any and all media for all purposes other than those uses prohibited under Section 5 of this Agreement.

8) Grant of Rights Restrictions:
a) Content shall not be incorporated into a logo, trademark or service mark.
b) Pornographic, defamatory or otherwise illegal use of Content is strictly prohibited, whether directly or juxtaposition with to specific subject matter.

9) Subject Matter: We make every effort to correctly caption the subject matter of our Content; however Petimage.org can not guarantee the accuracy of such information.

10) Age of Licensee: The Licensee must warrant and attest that he or she is at least 18 years of age to purchase Content from Petimage.org’s web site.

9) The Licensee understands and agrees that neither Petimage.org nor its owners, officers or employees herein, nor anyone else associated with this web site will be liable for any damages or other charges whatsoever arising out of the licensing or use of images on this web site or other Content herein, including, but not limited to, lost profits, printing expenses and/or other reproduction expenses.

10) While there may be links to other web sites on the Petimage.org web site, it is understood that Petimage.org has no control over these other web sites and is not responsible for the content of these other web sites or any loss suffered by Licensee of these web sites.
